The Artist

Paula is a professional portrait artist. She offers individual and group work in watercolor, oil and charcoal media. Her subjects include children, and men and women of all ages. Her commissions have included members of the clergy, director of an all boy academy in Greater Boston, director of a large government facility and many other public and private commissions.

Paula is a skilled landscape and coastal painter. She is also quite interested in architecture- in particular how it reflects the community. Her many paintings of Boston and locales in Greater Boston exhibit a love of life and people interacting in their towns

Paula is a signature member of the New England Watercolor Society.

She is listed in Who’s Who in American Art/Paula Piraino Grimes.

Mrs. Grimes has won numerous prizes for her paintings and was awarded grants from the Natick and Massachusetts Cultural Councils.

Pricing

The price for 11x14 (image) charcoal portraits is $75, and can be done from a photo which the client can provide. For larger charcoals, watercolors and oil portraits or paintings, please contact the artist.
